 This
little accordion folded journal is approximately 3.5" x 3.5" folded;
and 16" x 3.5" unfolded.
I was looking for a way to keep my 'to
do list' for the week; and prefer a format of a week rather than
daily. Another goal was to keep it portable and sturdy enough
to tuck into my purse or briefcase.
This little journal is created out of 140lb cold press watercolor paper.
It is rough-torn on some of the edges.
The design incorporates a small top flap
in the folding. It is decorated with a title and a way to keep
it closed. (A button is sewn to the flap; that has a ~ 12"
strand with a charm attached which can be wrapped around the outside
of the journal and then around the button.)
I divided the folds into triangle areas
to represent the various days of the week. I water-colored
painted each section and lightly indicated the days of the week.
This is applied to both front and back of the watercolor paper. |
